High School Devo and Fellowship 5:30-6:00 on Zoom:  Short devotions, games and time catching up will help us get through our week! Sunday Night Live! 6-7:30pm Join us for an outdoor gathering where faith, fun, food and fellowship collide! BYO brown bag dinner and we will serve up a fall treat!  Hope you will join us.  Students who wish to participate should submit an updated 2020-2021 FUMC Permission&Release form (see below).  We will practice social distancing, so wear a mask, bring a camp chair and dress to be outside! If you have questions, just contact Tracy at  Expected themes: 10/11-Relationships, RESCHEDULED: 10/18 Halloween Hall of Games on Zoom @6:30pm (see flocknote for code), 10/25-Jack-o-Lanterns (please bring safety pumpkin carving tools if you have them), 

All October – MissionQuest: a  day you pick to be in service!

Bottle Returns! Did you know we have collected hundreds of cans and bottles to help fund MissionQuest programs? WE NEED YOU to help!  Contact Tracy to schedule a bottle/can pickup time, and then return whenever it works for your schedule.  Volunteers will earn hourly credits toward future youth mission expenses.  Apparently, Meijer locations are the best for success in our area when doing returns and open throughout the day.
Sewing Ministry!  Did you know sewing could be an act of service?  If you are interested in a sewing project to help others, just contact Tracy at to sign up or for more details.  We can provide a machine to borrow, supplies and some instruction!  Have friends you want to work with?  Let Tracy know and we can schedule a “social distanced” project at the church.  Have cotton fabric to donate? We are seeking some fun prints (scraps 8″x8″ or larger are welcomed).

Sunday, November 1 College Connect!

Servant Sunday for YOUTH! On the first Sunday of the month we will engage in service to support our greater community and model the teachings of Christ!   SNL November 1st, 6-7:30pm: College ConnectThis will be our SundayNightLive event!  Our usual fall college care package program needs to be adjusted to be Covid-19 friendly!  SNL to the rescue!  We will engage in an act of service to help complete our fall College Connect program!   BYO chair, mask, brown bag dinner and dress to be outside.  A treat will be provided!  Hope you can make it!

Special Opportunities:

Student Intern applications accepted – If you are interested in an internship at the church, please contact Tracy for all the information to apply and to learn about these opportunities to gain working experience and build your resume. We often have positions for Ministry, Administration, Building Maintenance, and Music!
Help with Virtual Devotions: Our church services have switched primarily to an online devotional format (  It takes help from lots of people to make this happen.  If you would be willing to help with music or some other part of these services, please let us know!  You can contact Tracy, Lindsey, or Annie.


FLOCKNOTE!  This is our new HighSchool texting service to replace the previously used “remind” program.  Most students were signed up automatically if we had their number.  If not, simply text 248-982-0513 with student name, grade and “cell number, and Tracy will sign you up!  You can opt out at anytime!
