Sunday, July 10

  • Path Meditation, begins 8:45, open house style, on The Path: This individual/family experience will allow you to connect with God through nature and let go of some of the burdens Covid has placed on us.  What a great way to release and care for ourselves!   • CIRCLE – 9:15-9:45am, Day Care lot: Join us a bit earlier on Sunday mornings for an intergenerational outdoor gathering with interactive dialogue focused on the weekly scripture, its origins, and a couple discussion questions to help us grow!  This short Sunday morning gathering can launch you into your Summer Sunday and week ahead, or you can choose to stay for our worship service at 10am. Youth Missions – MissionQuest Summer 2022 Sign-up NOW!

Summer 2022 HOPE

  • June 21 Give 365 Huron River – Thanks to all that participated!  We cleaned 133.3 lbs of trash out of the Huron River!  What a great way to spread HOPE!
  • July 15-17 Youth Mission Quest trip to Howell Nature Center (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Please sign up by June 26 This event includes dorm lodging, wild animals, culture connect, service projects and some space remains, so contact Tracy of you are interested!
  • August 3-6 Mission Quest trip to Lake Michigan, Pentwater MI  (Wednesday-Saturday) Opportunities to work with the UMC camp, and the DNR and Mears State Park on this family (or age 18+) trip. Please sign up by June 26

Family mission opportunity (youth with parent or age 18+): Volunteer with our church to be in service in Detroit with partner organizations (Cass Social Svc, Brightmore, Motown, Noah, Rippling Hope, etc)! Social distancing will be practiced. Celebrating our Spring Break Youth Mission Quest! THANKS to all who helped over break

    • Friday, April 1: Motown Mission Day, What a fabulous day with Motown Mission, Rippling Hope and the Stopel Block Club and community garden!  We met and worked with the lovely residents on their new raised beds for the 2022 growing season!
    • Saturday, April 2: Eco Projects of repurposing and reclaiming, assisting our fund raisers!
    • Sunday, April 3: Servant Sunday Cinnamon Rolls & Reclaimed wood art fund raising + College Connect & Civic Concern, Thank you to all! We raised about $300 for youth missions, created 50 College Connect cards and had a great morning of putting our HOPE into action!
