On June 15/16 Saturday in the “D” joined with Week End in the “D” to work volunteer at CASS United Methodist Church in Detroit. Together over 20 enthusiastic and energetic, multi-generational volunteers – prepared a new pastors office space, refinished 9 outside doors, cleaned and planted the gardens around the church, cleaned the playground, weeded the entire church property and cleaned much of the interior.
