  • Sunday, June 11th-Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers:Putting Up The Tent” (Mark 9:2-13, The Transfiguration) We must pay careful attention to pitch our tents just right. Kids will learn that Jesus deserves our attention.
    • Family Picnic at ITC Community Park (SEE BELOW)

Coming Up

June

  • Sunday, June 18th-Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Setting Out Your Sleeping Bag” (Matthew 8:18-22, The Cost of Following Jesus) When you’re “roughing it” you have to give up your warm house and comfortable bed. Kids will learn that following Jesus means being willing to give up everything for God.
  • Sunday, June 25th-Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Going On A Hike” (Luke 10:1-17, Jesus Sends Out The Seventy-Two)  While camping, we may go out to the hiking trails and explore nature. Kids will learn that Jesus sends us out to help and serve others.

July

  • Sunday, July 2nd-NO SUNDAY SCHOOL
  • Sunday, July 9th–Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Make S’Mores” (John 6:25-40, Jesus Is The Bread of Life) No camping trip would be complete without fixing up s’mores. Kids will learn that Jesus is the bread of life that makes us complete.
  • Sunday, July 16th–Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Singing Campfire Songs” (Luke 19:28-40, The Triumphal Entry) Nothing’s more joyful than singing songs under the stars. Kids will learn that they should praise Jesus joyfully.
  • Sunday, July 23rd–Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Telling Campfire Stories” Luke 24:13-32, On the Road to Emmaus) It’s nice to sit around the campfire and tell each other stories.Kids will learn that we have the best story ever to tell: Jesus is alive!
  • Sunday, July 30th–Preschool and Elementary Sunday School
    • “Happy Campers: Keeping The Fire Going” (Acts 2:1-12, The Holy Spirit Comes) When the camping trip is over, make sure to put out the campfire is out. Kids will learn that with the promised Holy Spirit, the fire of good news will never go out.
  • Monday-Friday, July 31st-August 4th-Hero Hotline VBS

 

Family Picnic at the Park

Join us after church on June 11, 2023 at ITC Community Sports Park (51000 Eight Mile Rd, Northville) for a summer picnic! We will meet at the shelter by the playground from 11:30-1:30 for lunch and games together. Lunch will be provided.

VBS 2023

Save the date for July 31st-August 4th, 2023 for our annual VBS. At Hero Hotline VBS, children aged 3 (fully potty trained) through 5th grade will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they are called together to serve God. Join us as we answer God’s call together, to serve, bring peace, and build each other up!
