2023 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES SCHOLARSHIP GIFT
Scholarship gift applications due by April 30, 2023
Congratulations, you are graduating! First United Methodist Church, Northville wants to recognize this accomplishment, with celebration and support, as you enter the next phase of life’s journey.
A College Scholarship Fund has been established through the generous gifts and memorials of our members. All FUMC high school seniors, who are members of the church, are encouraged to complete an application for a college scholarship gift of $250.00 (or charitable partner gift option). We ask that you share a short narrative on how your involvement in church over the past four years has played a role in your outlook on life and the future. Contact Tracy for a copy of the application (you can copy and paste to your choice of doc to complete) and submit via email by Sunday, April 30, 2023 to Tracy Ortlieb.
The FUMC Scholarship Committee will review these applications so that awards may be acknowledged at the May 10, Graduation Celebration & Recording Event. Please expect to participate in the video recording, where each student will share their name, high school name, and plans for fall 2023 – even if undecided! More details will be sent out to graduates. If you have a conflict on May 10, please be sure to let us know when you submit your application. This video will be shared at the May 21 Grad & Glad Sunday worship service. We hope you and your family will be able to attend service together that day and share this celebration with the congregation that loves you and supports you!
