Sunday worship at 10:00am, In-person and Online
What to Expect on Sunday
Services include music, offering, and a message that is relevant to your daily life. Our music is a blend of contemporary and traditional, led by our organist, praise band, and multiple choirs. We use a large screen at our worship services, hymnals are also available in the pew racks.
Please wear whatever makes you comfortable as you worship God. There is no dress code. On any given Sunday dress ranges from dresses / suits and ties to shirts and jeans.
Accessibility
We have an elevator that is easily accessible from the upper or lower parking lot of our church. It reaches both levels of our church and is located in the middle of the building. We also have handicapped-accessible restrooms. We’ve installed “hearing loop” technology in the sanctuary that allows those with hearing aids equipped with a “T-Coil” to experience much-improved sound quality. We also have a very limited number of headsets equipped with the same technology (available from an usher).
Child Care
Summer Worship: childcare is available for Infant- 3 year olds in the nursery and for ages 4 – grade 5 in the Chapel.
Fall, winter, and spring worship: Nursery is available during the entire service. Preschool children may be dropped off at Sunday school before worship. All children and youth (Kindergarten – 12th grade) begin their morning in the worship service and are then excused to classes after the announcements. Every 1st Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday where our children (grades 3rd – 12th) remain in worship for the entire hour. Our greeters will be happy to direct you to our nursery and Sunday school rooms.
Connections Hour
Stay after worship for Connection Hour in the Fellowship Hall for coffee, cookies, and fellowship. It’s an opportunity to find out what activities are going on in the church, catch up with friends and meet new people.
Communion
Communion is the first Sunday of every month. All Christians are welcome at our table, whatever their denomination. You need not be a member of the United Methodist Church or even a baptized Christian. Children are welcome to take communion. It is up to their parents to decide when they should begin receiving it. We usually serve communion by intinction, which means that you tear off a piece of bread then dip it in the cup of grape juice. We offer gluten-free bread for those who have gluten intolerance.
Interested in becoming a member?
New member exploration classes cover a variety of topics and are designed to answer questions about the Christian faith, provide a deeper understanding of what it means to be a “Methodist”, introduce you to the pastoral and lay staff, expose you to the many ministries and serving opportunities of the church, and talk about the membership vows you are asked to make. There are several opportunities each year to participate in a class. Once you have completed this class, you can decide to join or wait until a later date. If you decide to join, you may do so through Confession of Faith or by transfer of membership from another United Methodist Church or other Christian denomination. If you would like to get started, please fill out the new member household information form.
