The Longest Night Service

On this night of the Winter Solstice, when daylight is at its briefest and darkness at it’s fullness, ancient peoples gathered to observe the turning of the season to longer days and increasing light. We Christians may do so also, gathering to light candles against the darkness, and to banish our doubts by stepping forward in faith. Whatever the weather, please join us at the foot of the cross, and on The Path to hear God’s Word, share prayers, and witness by candlelight to the Light of the world, Emmanuel, God with us. We will provide a sanitized battery candle for the service. Please dress for the weather and wear your face mask.
