SNL: SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE!! PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Inviting all high school students to join us for this Sunday night faith variety event where crazy games, fab food, your kinda worship and a passion for Jesus will collide – SNL, our Sunday evening youth group! This night takes the best of what you love at church and adds the unexpected. Bring a friend, or 2, or 13!
You won’t want to miss SNL @ FUMC featuring:
Food! Every Sunday when you arrive at 6, a tasty meal awaits at tables set for you and your friends! There will be lots of food, so consider inviting a guest and come hungry! YUM! (Families, please visit Signupgenius to volunteer for one meal per year! Thank You!)
Faith! Worship in a contemporary way that helps deepen your faith and connect you to God. With student lead music and message, this is an all-new way to praise God and grow in faith @ FUMC!
Friends! Talk about faith and life issues with people who matter to you. Small groups and caring leaders give you a safe place to share doubts and ask questions, even if you feel completely lost!
Fun! Games, activities, and surprises come together to create a night filled with fellowship, laughter, and joy. It’s all a part of playing together and building friendships that are solid, real and FUN!
SNL: Sunday Night Live Notes:
- Principles encouraged by program include:
- Caring (sharing unconditional love & acceptance for others & ourselves– finding purpose in life)
- Covenant (learning the personal value in commitments and boundaries)
- Community (building relationships – participation in something greater than ourselves)
- Open to all 9th -12th graders in the community. All Youth must have current 2019-2020 Medical & Health Form. Go to Forms & Documents to complete and submit the 2019-2020 form.
- Parent volunteers welcomed to help as needed with dinner preparations.
- SNL program follows Safe Sanctuary guidelines.
- SNL program may occasionally travel off-site.
