Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the only president elected to four terms. He rescued the country from the Great Depression and guided it through most of World War II. His New Deal programs revised the way government cared for citizens in times of crisis. He has been an inspiration because of his determination to serve his country in spite of the effects of polio.
Eleanor Roosevelt supported her husband throughout his career and rose to become one of the most admired women in history in her own right. She served as a member of the first delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations. Throughout her life she advanced the cause of freedom, peace, and justice for all people and won the hearts of millions.
Go back to 1944 and interact with these two historic figures in this 75 minute presentation by Dore’ Productions.
