Join us as we welcome Victoria White from All Belong Center for Inclusive Education for a full day training on creating an inclusive children and youth ministry. All Belong Center for Inclusive Education is a non-profit organization that equips congregations and schools to glorify God through purposeful, innovative inclusion of persons with varied abilities. Although training is geared towards children and youth ministry leaders, all are welcome to attend!

Training Overview

This training will include three sessions:

Framework for Flourishing: A 3-Part plan for ministry-An overall approach for children and youth ministry in three simple parts: puzzle piece perspective, participation for all through universal design, and personalization by responsive design.

Chex Mix, Not Pringles: Diverse Abilities in Children and Youth-An overview celebrating the spectrum of diversity in children and youth, seeing disabilities and differences through a biblical lens and discovering tools and strategies to engage each one.

Behavior: More Than Just Managing-Starting with the foundational truth that behavior is communication, we present strategies for proactively setting up ministry and children & youth for success in their environment, as well as techniques for when behaviors and big emotions come.
